Resize Method - Algorithm

PhotoELF allows you to choose which algorithm to use when resizing photos: The Bicubic method will produce images with more detail and fewer interpolation artifacts when resizing an image to be larger than the original.

However, the Bicubic method will generally take 4 times longer to accomplish. This may or may not be noticeable on today's processors, but if the images are very large, and your processor slow, it may be a factor in which method you choose.

If you are resizing images to be smaller than the originals, there is virtually no difference between the two methods.
