Using the Clipboard
The Clipboard is a Windows memory utility and may be used to transfer images from one program
to another without having to save the image.
- You may copy images to the clipboard.
- You may paste images from the clipboard.
In the Edit menu, found in PhotoELF's main program, and in the image editor you may select:
Copy to Clipboard.
Doing so will copy the currently displayed image to the Windows Clipboard.
You may then enter another program, (like Microsoft Word) and look in their edit menu for the
paste option. Doing so, will paste that image from the clipboard into that document.
This concept can also be reversed.
If you are in another program that supports the use of the Windows
Clipboard, you may copy an image to the Clipboard and paste it into PhotoELF's Editor. Look in the
Editor's Edit menu and select: Paste from Clipboard.
Another example of this is described in the Fun Topic: Screen Capture
